  1. The problem

147 tabs. Sam says she’s fine.

Three projects, one browser, and somewhere in there is the fix she found on Tuesday.

  2. Then Sam got a Nook

    Every tab files itself.

Nook looks at a tab’s title, its address and the tab that opened it, then files it into the right project, on your device. Correct it once and it remembers.

  3. Tuesday

Idle tabs tuck away. Nothing’s lost.

Past your limit (15 by default), idle tabs unload and tuck into their project, one click from reopening.

  4. Wednesday

    Switch project.

One project’s tabs fold away and another’s open, exactly as you left them.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Is Nook really free?

Yes. Saved tabs, collections and notes are unlimited on Free, along with every core feature. Growth ($5/mo or $48/yr) adds what keeps your tabs organized for you.

What happens when the 14-day trial ends?

Auto-organize, tidy and Switch project pause, and the side panel goes back to open tabs per window. Everything they organized stays saved, and your learned rules pick up again if you upgrade.

Does Nook read the pages I visit?

No. It sees tab titles and addresses only, and organizes on your device. Cloud AI is opt-in and gets scrubbed titles and addresses.

Will Nook close my tabs without asking?

Only if you turn on tidy, and only past your limit (15 by default). Tucked-away tabs stay saved in the side panel, and every action has Undo. The tab you’re on, pinned tabs and tabs playing audio are never touched.

Which browsers does it work in?

Chrome, Edge, Brave and other Chromium browsers on desktop, all installed from the Chrome Web Store. The web app works anywhere. Firefox and native mobile apps are on the roadmap.

Do I need an account?

No. Nook works fully offline in one browser. Sign in with Google or email to sync and to start your Growth trial.

How many devices can I use?

2 browsers on Free, unlimited on Growth. The web app never counts.

Can I bring tabs from another tab manager or my bookmarks?

Yes. Import bookmarks, other tab managers’ exports, JSON or text, and export any time to JSON, HTML, Markdown or text.

Which AI chats can Nook file?

ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Grok, saved from the tab. History import works for ChatGPT and Claude exports. Nook keeps titles and links, never message text.

How do I cancel? Do you give refunds?

Cancel any time in Nook (Account → Plan → Cancel subscription) or in PayPal. You keep Growth until the end of the period you’ve paid for, and then your account moves to Free. Payments aren’t refunded. Nothing you saved is ever deleted.

Can I export or delete my data?

Yes. Export everything at any time. Deleting your account purges it after a 14-day grace period.

Your tabs, in a calmer place.

Sam is fine. A film about Nook.

Sam has 147 tabs open and insists she’s fine. Then she gets Nook: every tab files itself into the right project, idle tabs tuck away, and ⌘K finds the fix she lost on Tuesday. By Friday she has nine tabs open, and she’s actually fine.
